Administrative Assistant
HRA of Austin is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations, customer service, Board administration, and housing programs.
- Pay Range: $19.50-$31.57 per hour, based on experience
- Schedule: Full-time
- Reports To: Executive Director
- Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. Relevant administrative, customer service, housing, accounting, or program experience is preferred. Successful completion of a background check, consistent with HRA policy and applicable law. Valid driver’s license and access to transportation for occasional work-related travel.

Office and Board administration, market rate housing support, Public Housing and Housing Choice Voucher support, and administrative support for community programs. See the full job description for details.
Physical Requirements
Work is primarily performed in an office and involves regular use of a computer and telephone, interaction with the public, and occasional visits to HRA properties or community locations. Occasionally walks, climbs stairs, and moves materials weighing up to 25 pounds. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable qualified individuals to perform the essential functions.

Seasonal Help
HRA of Austin is seeking seasonal help for 30-40 hours per week.
- Pay Range: $14.50-$16.50 per hour
- Schedule: Seasonal, 30-40 hours per week
- Minimum Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old and possess a current valid driver’s license.
Job Duties
This position will assist with mowing, grounds work, moving items, and other general upkeep duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to perform outdoor work and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
